Edgardo G. Datar
Bio
“There is no rosy road to glory”. This is what Edgardo Datar heeded by as he traversed the peaks and the valleys that life brought him. He was poor growing up. He had no clothes…he borrowed his uncle’s and tied them with strings, he wore bakya…when everyone else wore shoes, he was hungry and resourceful and swallowed his pride when he asked for his classmate’s leftover for lunch, he walked kilometers to school, through rain or shine, he burned the midnight oil, slept hungry did chores in exchange for staying with relatives and going to school. But all these were simply hurdles he had to overcome in his path to succeed….and he succeeded indeed…..
