Saan Nagtatago si Happiness?SYNOPSISCrazy and heartwarming!Finding happiness isn’t part of Tikyo’s everyday plan. For him, at the age of 50 nothing is as simple as selling sorbetes, his only source of living. Everythings just perfectly fine until, breaking news comes – his mother, whom he believed for so long was already in heaven, is still alive. Tikyo will do everything to reconcile with the woman he loves the most. Every effort, he does with the help of his best buddy, Nene, the problem child of the tenement.His world will be lost in confusion when the girl of his dream comes, Sarah, fresh and charming. The 50-year-old guy is now torn between finding his mom and pursuing the young woman’s heart. Tikyo must find his way to happiness, lead other people to it or redefine its true meaning. CAST OF CHARACTERS 1.NENE – 8 year old girl, best buddy of Tikyo, a simpleton sorbetero, who is in search for his mother. She helps him in looking for his mother while they often argue with her not attending her classes. She is searching for her fathers love and thinks that the way to do it is to win a song competition. 2.ALING MARENG – a fat 55 year old landlady of the tenement who is very strict with collecting fees from her tenants. She happens to be the only relative of Tikyo but doesnt treat him like one. She is the one who discovers that Sotela, Tikyo’s mother whom they believed to be dead, is still alive. 3.SARAH – a 25 year old attractive and sexy woman who transfers to the apartment and becomes the love interest of Tikyo. She works as a promodiser selling knives and wonder bras but has another job no one would expect. 4.SOTELA – a 76 year old senile woman, mother of Tikyo, who is believed to be among those who perished from a ship tragedy where many died, butis actually alive. 5.BUSILAK late 50s, owner of an old and forgotten sing-along bar, where Tikyo works as a waiter. He brags his status in life, fame and good looks but is totally the opposite of it. 6.MARTHA – a 35 year old fat lady who has a long time crush to Tikyo. She tries everything to impress him by making herself beautiful, giving him food regularly from her carenderia and referring him for another job as a waiter. Unfortunately, her efforts are not recognized because Tikyos attention is with Sarah. She is the leader of daster gang, a group of gossipers in the tenement.7.JOHNNY BOY a 17 year old gay brother of Martha who is not in favor of her sisters admiration to Tikyo. He is the only guy member daster gang.8.BEBENG DAGA 29 year old member of daster gang who has a long front teeth and big set of ears. She supports Martha in her pursuit for the love of Tikyo.9.BEBENG TAGA 35 year old buddy of Bebeng Daga who dresses and acts the same as her. Together they do everything to help Martha win the heart of the man she loves. 10. SPO1 CHOLO PASCUAL – late 30s, a policeman who takes advantage of his authority in dealing with other people. He has strong built but is actually asthmatic. 11.LANDO 35 years old, father of Nene, who works before as a construction worker. He suspects that Nene is not his own child. A house husband, he is often drunk and keeps on insisting on his wife’s infidelity.12.TINAY 30 years old, mother of Nene who works as a secretary in a small, Chinese-owned firm in Binondo.
