susmaryosep na siram kaiyan sigurto manay kikai. naliliwoy na po ako habang nagtatype ako kaining comment ko samimo. mas masiram pa siguro kaiyan kung may dikit na harang ta mas lalong gaganahan ka kan pagkakan. salamat po manay for sharing baka lamang makaluto man ako kaiyan digdi next week.

i love this recipe too! ako pikagan ko pa ki suwa (lemon) ta ma-uro-alsum ki diit (rigth before i turn off the stove). tapos pikagan ko ki tanglad (lemon grass) ta mahamoton man nanggad.
may naukdan pa ako ki Mama ko. pi-labonan muna(pig-laga muna, tapos pig balad ki diit sa init kang aldaw) ang tapayas. then i would use shrimp instead of chicken.. aba-a ng siram!
sa aga iyo an ang isira mi. kaso daing init ki aldaw ta medyo nag-u-uran-uran digdi ngunyan sa L.A. -

Two weeks ago,I was craving for Tinutungang manok that I literally drooled by just the thought of it.I rushed to the nearest Asian Store but to my dismay,they run out “kinudkod’or”kinabog(Grated Coconut Milk).So i decided to settle for Ginulay na Tapayas with Chicken.Oni tabi ang sakuyang Version kang Ginulay na Tapayas ala (pseudo)Tinutungang Manok.
Ingredients
1/2 pound Chicken-cut into adobo size or smaller(preferably Thighs or Drumsticks)
1 pound unripe Papaya-sliced thinly into strips
Ginger-Mga kasinglaki ng hinlalaki o tanggurangan,peeled ang sliced into strips(julliened)
1 tablespoon garlic-finely minced
1 medium size onion -diced
bay leaf(laurel)-3 pieces
1 teaspoon pamintang buo
11/2 cup coconut milk(1 can)
6 pieces Jalapeno chilis(sliced crosswise)-pwede man po i adjust kung gurano nindo gusto ka harang
Patis or fish sauce to taste-depende po sa timpalda na gusto nindo..i used about 4 tbsp
1-2 table spoon cooking oilProcedure:In medium high setting,Igisa o sautee sa Pan/kawali/kaserola ang mga sumusunod:Garlic,ginger and onion for about 3 mins.Add chicken and let it brown.Pour 1 cup coconut milk and add 1 cup water(or pede man tabing dagdagan pa nin anothe 1/2 cupkung gusto nindo na medyo masabaw).Add paminta,laurel and sili.Cover the pan,hayaang kumulo,then add patis to taste.let it cook for 12 mins,then add the Papaya.Hayaan kumulo ng another 10 mins.pag sa hiling nindo luto na su chicken saka su tapayas.i buhos su natatadang 1/2 cup na coconut.Cook for another 7-10 mins.in medium setting.Adjust taste by adding salt or patis.
