Jane “janered”
(kamot baba, kamot baba). My happiest moment is when I pass the rigorous test required for the US Navy. The odds were stacked against me. I lacked scholastic background (I was just a High School grad) and was compteting with guys who are in college or has college degrees. God was with me on that day. Out of over 400 applicants, ony 8 of us made it. That’s how tough it is to join the US Navy in the Philippines.
Saddest moment? When I realizeIcan never marry the girl of my dreams. We’ve been”steady” for over9 yrs, started our relationship whenwe were both young, I was22and she was 20.Wehad plans, dreams and really thought we were meantfor each other. She waited for mefaithfully for long 9 yrs. hoping our dreams would become reality.I criedmany long nights just blaming myself for what happened. It was a tough decision to makebut in the end, I chose to become a father to my child.Someday, I will find her and ask for her forgiveness. It’s long overdue…..
na attempt ka man mag cheat kay kumander as you’ve said may iba ka palang mahal?///Naisip kong madalas yon lalo na pag nag-aaway kami noon. I know she’s still waiting for me maski na nga alam niyang may asawa na ako. She was desperately clinging to that last thread of hope that somehow, our marriage wont last. Numerous times I thought about ending the marriage as well, but everytime I see my daughter, how small and helpless shewas at that point in her life, all I can do is cry and hug my baby.I was torn between my true love and the baby that I brought in this world. I chose the latter.
As far as cheating, I never did. I quit my wild ways after I got married. Was it easy? No! I have to refuse many advances from many women even when I was married. Not to brag but I wasn’t a bad looking guy andlooked good in uniform. Inspite of the temptation, I was able to ward it off as I don’t want my wife to cheat on me either. I have to exercise restraint to be successful.
salamat po…salamat din Jane -

pai caloy Super User
very nice read ining mga simbag mo Noy Rod….. segi lang, payt ka sanang simbag with feelings… ta may surprise ako saimo, wahahahahaha. kun ma okdan mo an, nyan, the next round of colombian coffee is on me, sans the sans of…… (?)///Mabalos Noi. There’s no point in lying maski ngani nagkakalayo na ining lobot ko.
alat tabi, ta may next round ako:
1- Do you favor the movements of the Basques and the Quebecois? do you think they will ever succeed to separate?////Not really. I’m not an expert but I think there’s room for compromise like give those regions/people autonomy and let them run their own external affairs yet remain an integral part of the nation. Allowing them to separate will fragmentize the country and weaken the Central government. And when will it end? Next thing you know…the Catalans want to secede as well as the Aragons, the Galicians, the Burgoses. The country we know asEspana will no longer exist. Same holds true for Canada.
2- Was Patricia Hearst a victim? or she was a part of the whole scheme?///My take? She was a victim. Why would a pretty young lady who was pampered since childhood and a heiress to the HearstFortune would abandon the lifestyle she knew since day one and join a radical group? Ijust can’t see the logic behind that. Maybe she got brainwashed….Idon’t know. After her rescue, she did not make an attempt to rejoin the group, rennounced her terrorist affiliation, married her bodyguard andhaskept a low profile ever since.
3- Is Jane Fonda a true-bloodied activist?///I won’t call her a true-blooded activist. She tends to pick and choose the battle she wants to wage. She is not popular amongst Vietnam Veterans and the Military. During the height of Vietnam War, there were conspiracy theories about the military wanting to assasinate her. I didn’t pan out because Ted Turner kept her hidden away.
4- There are two vintage cars: a Bentley and a Daimler – which one you would go for?///Hmmmm….from financial standpoint, I’d go with Daimler as it is a “little” cheaper to maintain. Bentley is nice but I don’t think I’ll ever own one nor want one. It’s way too expensive and I don’t have money to burn like Pading Ding. My wife drives a Mercedes so I’m familiar with MBZ cars. I personally prefer sports sedans from BMW… a blending of luxury and performance in one package.
5- Nora Aunor has been proclaimed by CNN to be the best Asian actress (Himala) recently. Will she be able to have a good grip on this break? While we are this, who do you think is the best Pinoy actor to hit the screen?///Sorry Noi, I’m not up to date on local cinema. I don’t have a clue. I like Nora Aunor as a singer and that’s how I will always remember her. When she became an actress, I was long gone so I don’t know.
6- Ms. Rice said: soon the people will be thankful to Bush…..is a referral to the man’s policy to anti-terrorism?///It’s premature to comment on Ms. Rice’sstatement or to Bush’s legacy as President. Only time will tell. He is not a popular President.
7- Would you club a seal?///For their pelt? NO!
8- What’s your vision for a great Philippines?///Hmmm…where do we start? Our system is rotten to the core and our politicians have no morals whatsoever. We are the sick man of Asia and we should be ashamed of ourselves. My take? Tear down the whole establishment and start all over again. Perhaps a REVOLUTION is in order. Remove all the remnants of previous regimes and start from scratch. Enforce the law of the land and make examples of people who defy or make mockery of the law. Educate the voting public how the electoral process works and makeevery politician accountable for their actions while in office. I’d like to see politicianssubmit all their assets and liabilities before they take office and after they leave office.Anything NOT DECLARED or falsifiedconstitute the right of the government to seize subject assets. It was never meant forthe politicians to get rich off peoples hard earned money. It has become too lucrative. Jocjoc Bolante is thumbing the Senators noses right now. He might even run for Senator and might win. Anything is possible in the Philipines. Where in the world would you find a former President convicted and charged with graft and corruption and yet has the audacity to run again as President? Or a convicted Congresman guilty of rape and runs his office from jail cell? Only in the Philippines. This madness has to stop. it should start from the voters. Our elected officials are a bunch of buffoons.
9- I like Kiko Pangilinan. You think he will be a good President (2010 Phil elections)?///Sorry Noi, I really don’t know him. I’ll read his profile and he might be a good one. I’d say anybody is better than the incumbent president.
10- What’s your take on the Iraq War?///I have my own views about the war and I’m part of the military machine that went to war.Having spent25 years in the military, I can tell you this: It was never a mission of the military to free people from tyranny fromleaders who commit genocide against their own people. Our job is to protect and defend theConstitution of the United States against allenemies foreign and domestic. Having said that, I am not in a position to question my Commander in Chief.Whew! mainit na digdi.

hahahahah..hello manoy rod. basang basa ko ang kadipisilan na masimbag mo ang hapots ni jing on what women want..hahah..dae mo talaga aram..proven yan…nag quote ka na sana baga nin mga kabarkada na dae man aram../// Iyo baga POI, para saco a woman is mystical creature. Nata daw? After 25 yrs of marriage to the same woman…she’s still as mystifying as the first day we met. Mr. Freud help!o sige ibahon ta diit, what does a man want from a woman? and why? iba tabi ini sa previous hapot na what is appealing to you from the opposite sex ha…////Honest answer? SEX SEX and more SEX. Lolz!. Each man hasit’s own yardstick so I cannot generalize.I want my woman to be faithfull, honest, understanding, supportive, and most of all…a good mother to my children.I wantmy womantocheer me upwhen I’m sad, give me words of encouragement when things go bad, andbe compasionate to my needs and wants.Igwa pa daw na arog kaining babayi?

April “Jing-jing”
Manoy Rod, thank you…ako po palan si MAHINHIN? bilang saro naman na magurang, nakakakua po ako nin adal sa mga simbag mo sa hapot saimo about your children…///Hi Manay April Kumusta ka na sa Land of the Rising Sun? Happy New Year saimo at sa pamilya mo. Salamat sa comments mo.
Manoy Rod(makikikua lang pong ideya), we know that Psychology and Literature are both concerned with human motivations and behavior pero para po saimo, what is the relationship between the two in dealing people? pasensiya na po Manoy Rod ta hinugakan na baga si Jing-jing na magresearch NEW PAMILYA MONG BILOG SA ASIN SAIMO PO YEAR HAPPYDIOS MABALOS po…///Bako man akong experto sa pag-analyze kan mgatawo, peroI’m abigSigmund Freud fan.Mayo man akong inadalan kaya I try to learn things on my own.I love Psychologyit has helped me analyze why people act or behavea certain way. Most of it involves listening to the peoples needs and wants and provide viable solution to theproblem. Just agreeing with the person is half the battle. Pero mayo akongsimbag to the biggest question of them all: What does a woman want? All bets are off when I’m asked that question. We touch on Psychological aspects quite a bit. Literature is merely putting someone’s thoughts on paper..whether it hashistoricalcontext orjust expressing the authorsmoods/feelings the minute he/she picks up the pen. Dakol bagang mga Literary geniusesna isinurat an saindang masterpiece while ondrugs or alcohol. Edgar Allan Poe comes to mind. Inda kong nasimbag ko su hapot mo. Mabalos tabi
