    You are not alone, clairet.
    Not too long ago, the cheery threads and leaves of gB got invested by voracious insects and pests with their locust ads. They flew away, I know not where.

    There are few members here thatlive in Japan. They might be able to help you. You might try googleandread up on the common desease(s) or insect(s) thatare known to attack cherry blossoms. Goodluck

    I have planted a flowering cherry blossom only this spring and it has
    been growing nicely then i noticed the reddish colored leaves are being
    attacked by something that is seems to be eating the leafs what can i do
    to stop this.
