Ini po na kanta na nadadangog ta is considered to be the flagsong of gobicol.com – being it evolved from the members’ desire na mag-ka igua lamang kita ki signature song. The march beat/tempo isjust fitting.
As stated earlier, we received another version that came all the way from our member based in Kuwait… It was rendered using a mixture of folk-ballad-country hymn with guitar accompaniment. Very intersting delivery……Iyo lang ngane idto, dae pa nalilipat sa Mp3 format. Hence, kun su author kaidtong version na babasa ini, despues naka Mp3 na palan man na su kanta, paki upload man tabi idtong pinadara mo.
Its okay if we receive other versions (either rendered in solo, duet, quartet or even chorus.. accompanied by guitar and or any other instruments, puede din na acapella rendition). We also encourage those honed with songwriting craft to contribute their compositions……..and or any other original compositions( be it in Bicol Iraya, Ilawod, Naga/Legaspi or maski sa Inglis…..as long as it speaks of the passion of Bicol, its fiery spirit… dahil baga sa lada, or about sa laing/natong/ga’bi leaves……) Have it play here, hear it for our listening pleasure… na kun mag abot ngaya sasampulong (10)kanta, a gobicol.com song disc can just come into being…..complete with your own copyright/rights reserved. it would cost, but, the original compositions become a treasure…. part of the history of this site…..become part of Bicol’s acceleration to redevelopment.
Bicolanos are known to be good singers, we are a happy tribe, always ready with a smile, maski yaon na namon su borok-borok kan oran. -

I’m sorry for my comment above. It was imprudent of me, baga. I thoughtthe songwas for others to comment as in the first song.
Kung iyan na ang kantang nagustuhan kan grupo, dapat iyan na ang sunudon para wara na confusion. Mas deficil kung mag-invite pa ki ibang versions tapos dai mansana mapili, it would cause misunderstanding and bruised egos.
Songwriting isan art form, what is noise to one is a symphony to another. Kung prizedsongwriting competition to be judged by a panel, pwede mag invite ke more entries, at leastthe writeris prepared for possible rejection as it will be judged basedon criteria. Besides, expenses will be incurred by the entry sender, sayang naman, sa GB fund na lang sana mapaduman.
Kung may iba pang alternative na natanggap na, sayang man kung dai madangog unless dai pasado. How about the previous song? -

despensa manoy caloy but i think i need to do these tabi….in addition sa post mo…im sorry tabi but i have to include this person.

Kindly allow me:
A theme song, especially for an institution/organization ( and in this case, for me http://www.gobicol.com is a decent portal of Bicolanos around the world who have access to the internet), should be deemed prim and proper. The song should reflect the entity’s sentiments/objectives, kun baga tabi, it is its signature and must recur. For it to be appropriate, it must have its character, distinct from the rest. It should “live” and be the aesthetic driving force to hope and aspiration (of our ka-banwa).
The song we are hearing now is in a demonstration format, still raw and needs more polishing (given the time and logistics are on hand). A minus-one version was provided so that all can sing along with it, get that feeling, that sense of proximity, of being identified na ika sarong Bicolano, na maski bi-bagyo-bagyo na kita, yaon pa man gueraray su satuyang own fight to give ourselves quality life… kun baga, bungakaras na…. and you never know, you discover that marai man palan an simong boses. Like, I received another rendering version from our colleague (at the moment, the sender prefers to remain anonymous) sent via DHL courier from Kuwait. I just didnt have enough time (ta maduman pa ako sa source for technical assistance, who is not always readily available) to put it into a Mp3 format. but if you are reading this and you have the facility, kindly upload your version. We can always sing along with it, appreciate it and recognize your effort.
The song you are hearing now is a result of excellent lyrical work of Ms. Mayet/Marita/Ganymede. For me, its embodiment is a product of her thespian mind, marvelous song-writing. Thanks a lot to you!
Thank you too to our anonymous member (and we will wait for your render). Noy Jeric’s feedback has its valuable effect on how things are achieved and Gayunon Recca’s call suppors that. Let’s groove on it!
Thank you too to all the members who did their best to contribute to the composition at its infancy.
Thank you too to to the two singers Raymond Castiller and Jefrey Almendras; Romeo Carbonnel the musical arranger and Emmanuel Martinez for the sound editing.
Thank you also to Mr.Carlo Panesa/ Pai Caloy for the conceptualization of these song, for all the patience and efforts you have exerted to make this song a reality. Salute to the captain.
Xandei, thanks to you and your loving wife Vicvic, for bringing us all together in this site. http://www.gobicol.com is fast becoming a commendable channel for all Bicolanos to be in Bicol, wherever they may be, whenever they have time.
God bless us all. -

May comment lang po ako, hope u wont mind tabi.
Napaka formal ang dating ng song, Pwede yun sa opening ng meeting o assembly but inappropriate to be sang in informal events, say, inside the bus during food distribution or as intermission number during group discussions. Cannot be sang also when ur on the beach if ur reminiscing.
I think the appropriate song for the group is something with a simple tune that can be accompanied by a guitar and those who are not musically inclined can join the chorus, mga taga rah-rah-rah baga, para gabos may participation.
Anyway, keep up the good work
