🙂 I was wishing na magbutwa ining thread na ini sa petsa 20th September na, time to endorse to someone, but anyhow, ok man sako to answer any question given.:) Padaba talaga ako ni Manay Felice, she spare me from answering any question:) thanks! Regards man tabi saimo Manay and see you in December 2006 [God permits]:)
Manoy Caloy, I guess it is what made the difference, so peaceful ang probinsiya kan Albay [not that Naga is not], pero yaon pa talaga ang aura ki sarong rural area sa satong probinsiya inspite of all those modern amenities, and I wish that it will remain that way. Tabaco City is also same with Legazpi.
… and by the way, you are right, we love dancing and singing coz we are happy and good natured people, who just have simple needsin life but… dreamer and ambitious.

You are most welcome Grace and thanks for giving interest to ask questions, it is ok with me to answer the questions.
    1. Dahil dyanka nag pamilya, do you still consider na OFW ka, maski naagom mo taga diyan? My ex-husband is an Arab but not Emirate and eversince I never let go of my Filipino passport and will never will. I always consider myself as an OFW and proud of being one.
Sa UAE puwede magbakal ki property, lalo na sa Dubai but there are some limitations sa rights can expatriate na gusto magbakal. It is only in UAE [only Dubai]not in any other GCC countries. [Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman]
3.Do you have a business sa Pilipinas na gusto mong e promote, para matabangan ka? No, I don’t have any business in the Philippines.
4.Kasuarin mo po last na nabisita an TNHS? Last April 2006, when we turned over the classroom, we [Class 79]donated to Tabaco National High School.
5.Paano ta po matatabangan bilangsaro kitanataga Tabaco kan GoBicol ining Ziga Memorial Hospital? As I have mentioned, the problem of Ziga Memorial is purely political, it should be solved from the root. Dati iyan na saro sa mga maasahan na hospital sa Tabaco but due to the change of administration nag-deteriorate na talaga. Paghuna ko matatabangan ta sana an, thru cash or in kind, kaya lang ang problema, us being out of the country, dificil mag-tiwala basta, kaipuhan legitimized ang mag-asikaso kan donation coming from outside to avoid exploitation.
6.Ano tabi manay Rose anmga favorite na pagkaon /lutongPinoy kan2 mongangels? So youngest ko talbos ki kamote [basta no fish, maski knorr cube lang ikaag ok na saiya:)]. I have asked my mother tohave somebody plant kamote in the backyard para sana saiya. So matua ko, as like most of the kids, fried chicken of course lalo Jollibee. I don’t encourage them to eat pork, as I don’t eat pork anymore myself, though I am not a Muslim.
7.Tatao man po mag taram nin Bicol/Tagalog an saimong 2 angels? Aw sus iyo ki marhay [English, Tagalog and lalo Bicol], ta they practically grew up there, not here in the Middle East [they don’t like it here], gusto ninda si lola kaibahan [so I have to go home every six months from UAE to be with them, kaya sobra gastos :)]. I am so glad that they are growing up in an environment like Tabaco and raised as Bicolanas, adapting the purely Bicolana culture andsurrounded with kan sakong pamilya sa Bicol.
So kaya mo bakalon buda isulot, being OFW tax free and unlimited of gold is allowed as long as you have a working or resident visa of any GCC country, pero so mga tourist visa lang, medyo delikado, na ma question.
Digdi sa Al Ain, UAE igwa, pero sa dangog ko igwa ki overall Bicolano Association digdi sa UAE [to be honest I am not very active here sa mga organization, as I prefer to be private sa existence ko digdi sa Middle East, just purely to work and earn money]. But I have3 very close and dearestFilipina friends since 10 years ago.
Same here, my good wishes to your family.

@Grace: First of all, my best regards to your husband and kids and to your mama and papa.
Hi Manay Rose, ika palan po an nasa hotseat ngonian.
Always be proud that we are graduates of the Tabaco National High School, maski sain, dapatipagmalaki, I always do that here at the midst ofthis multi-ethnic group that I am in [ I work with almost 44 nationalities] and if I have the chance, I always introduce to them our country and specifically, where I came from, Bicol. Also, I am very proud that I came from a public school like the Tabaco National High School, and for sure that is where my children will also be when the time comes.
2.How do you show appreciation to the schools you graduated(elementary,HS and college) from? Whatever I could do to help, I always grab the chance, sa abot kan sakong kaya. Para sako ang Alma Mater is a big portion kan satong development na dai ta dapat lingawan.
3.Any updatespo manungod sa GoBicol foundation? Naghahalat man ako kan update ni Atty Ted, so far, the last info I have, nasa process siya kan pag revise kan ngaran and have it registere to Security and Exchange Commission.
4.Would you remarry him back or ifthe right man comes along? Why/why not? As I have said, I have great respect to my ex-husband as the father of my children, but re-marrying him, I guess it won’t be possible anymore at this point of time [we both understand that]. Marrying another man? I don’t close my door to this chance, as you said if the right man will come, a man guided by God to be with me, is what Iam waiting for. I have a great confidence, that if he is the wrong man, God will always find a way to let him stay away from me.
5.Would you let your girls choose their own spiritual (Muslim/Catholic) faith? Absolutely, at the right age, I will give them the freedom to choose the Faith they would want to, afterall, we all believe in the same God. Being a Christian myself and live for almost now 17 years in a Muslim country, I have great respect to Islam, as a religion.
6.Ano mga specialty mo na lutothat you’ll prepare yourself if mag EB kitang duwa sa Tabaco- given naall ingradients are available and neitherof usis on diet? Matibay man ako magluto ki Bicol food, like laing, anything with gata buda may lada matibay ako diyan, upon request kan guests ko;) Puwede man ako magluto Arabic food or Thai food:)) I look forward Grace for that day na you and your family will be my guests in my place in Tabaco.
7.How hard it is to be a single /working mom in a foreign land? Tough life but I am enjoying it, I have only one technique in life, I put my life and my family’s life in the hands of God, absolute Faith, I am not worried at all. I have the feeling of contentment and peace of mind. HE gave me the feeling of acceptance of what I am at present and look at every day a blessed day for me and for my family. I don’t ask much, only what HE is willing to give me and my family.
8.Would you and your girls come for a visit to USA if granted a visa? I was fortunate to get a 10 years multiple entry to the US since 2 years ago, but it is not yet my priority as I am ironing out the future of my kids financial wise, but for sure time will come that I will see that place for a visit. I promised that to myself. Being a single mom, I plan and organize everything in our lives, 5 – year projection always the minimum.
9.Which 5cities of USAwould you like to seeright away if budget/time is not a problem? California [as most of the GB members are there]:), Washinton DC and your romantic place Seattle and of course New York.
10.What places inAlbay would you invite our GB members to go and have fun? First of all to see the whole Tabaco [ including the tourist spots there] and treat them for a whole-day excursion at Dio Endheka [Ben Gonzales place], ako ang maluto kan babalunon na pagkaon, gabos na Bicol na putahe. Oh I wish this day will come, it would be an awesome day!:)
Thank you so much manay Rose and a big hug and kisses to your family!! Salamat man tabi Baba-Grace kan mga hapot mo, I hope I was able to answer them all. Again my hello to your family!

[Takot ako!:(]

1- which is abetter, place to work: Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates? United Arab Emirates is a better place to work, but Saudi Arabia will always be in my heart forever.
2- did you ever consider running for public office, say in your hometown as a mayor? or simply a member of the city’s council? Dai tabi akong plano na maglaog sa politika, I always love a simple and peaceful existence:)
3- what message would you convey to our young women who want to work in the Middle-East? For women who want to work in the Middle East:
First : MAINTAIN YOUR RESPECT TO YOURSELF, THUS YOU WILL RESPECT OTHERS REGARDLESS OF NATIONALITY Second: STUDY THE CULTURE, YOU DON’T HAVE TO ADOPT IT, BUT LEARN TO ABIDE TO IT, FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY Third: PLEASE DON’T FORGET, THE BEST TYPE OF MONEY IS THE HARD-EARNED MONEY [ EASY MONEY, EASY GO, SABI NGANI]
Most important: BE CLOSER TO GOD AND YOU ARE SAFE.
