Our country in not even united at all. Sad but true. We Pinoy’s are extremely territorial..there is that subtle mistrust on anybody that is not from our region.We put so much emphasis inregionalistic pride which, when taken in context, is not a bad thing at all. Each region is trying to outdo/outwit eachother. Welook at the Ilocanos, the Kapangpangans, the Visayans, the Tagalogs and anybody that is not from the Bicol Region with suspicion and vice versa. It has gotten better over the years butI don’t think it will completely go away… it is just the way we Pinoys are.The only time we are united is when there is war, when the security ofthe country is threatenedor when Manny Pacquio wins a boxing match. Then we are all proud to be Pinoys. The rest of the time, you are left to fend for yourself.
That my friend is the reality and not the illusion that you are trying to portray.
Jeez man…..get a life!
